Job summary

Outfield Healthcare Partners in Bedford, TX seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (RN) to oversee Nursing Services and ensure compliance with federal, state, and company standards. The role acts in the Director's absence and leads the nursing process from assessment to evaluation.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license, an associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing, and at least 5 years in long-term or acute care with 2+ years of supervisory experience. We offer competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be currently licensed as RN in the state practiced.
• Associate or Bachelor Degree from an accredited nursing school required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates plans for the total care of each resident in line with physician’s orders and facility policies.
• Communicates and interprets policies and procedures to nursing staff and monitors practices.
• Participates in admissions decisions and may visit prospective residents as needed.
• Attends daily and weekly management meetings to discuss resident status and staffing.
• Ensures delivery of compassionate, quality care with appropriate staffing and cleanliness.
