SCHOFIELD&ASSOCIATES LLC in Huntington, IN is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead and develop the nursing team while upholding the highest standards of resident care in a long-term care setting.

The ADON partners with the Director of Nursing to oversee daily nursing operations, mentor staff, ensure regulatory compliance, participate in care planning, and drive quality improvement initiatives across the facility.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing in Indiana.
• Experience leading nursing teams in long-term care settings.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to mentor staff.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily operations of the nursing department with the DON.
• Support and supervise nursing staff; provide guidance and development opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and facility policies.
• Participate in care planning, assessments, and inter-disciplinary meetings.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care outcomes.
• Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and training of new staff.
• Step in for the DON as needed and serve as a point of contact for staff and residents.

The Role:

As our Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the quality of care we provide. What You’ll Do:

• An RN license in good standing in the state of Indiana.


• Experience in nursing leadership (long-term care experience preferred).
