AVIR Health Group is seeking a qualified Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our family! This role supports the Director of Nursing in clinical management and leads a high-performing team focused on resident and family-centered care in a Texas facility.

The ADON will foster a collaborative culture, ensure regulatory compliance, oversee staffing, and implement infection control practices. Walk-ins are welcome daily as we build a compassionate, compliant, and efficient nursing program.

Qualifications

• Valid Texas Nurse License.
• Valid CPR Certification.
• Knowledge/experience in infection control and prevention.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support the Director of Nursing with the overall clinical management of the facility.
• Build and lead a high-performing nursing team and culture with a resident- and family-centered focus.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and quality of care within the facility.

Qualifications for Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) :

• Valid Texas Nurse License.

• Valid CPR Certification.

• Minimum of one year of experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other related healthcare program.

• Education, training, experience, or certification in infection control and prevention.

• Must possess knowledge of long-term care operational standards as set forth in the Federal Register, Conditions of Participation and State regulations.
