Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking an RN Ambulatory Team Lead for Express Care, Orthopedics and Wellness at Beachwood Family Health and Surgery Center. This role supervises daily operations, coordinates care delivery and leads caregiver education in a busy ambulatory setting.

You will oversee patient care, support clinical workflows, and participate in quality and safety initiatives while fostering a welcoming patient experience on the east side.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure with Ohio registration.
• Two years of recent RN experience in ambulatory or acute care settings.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.

Responsabilidades

• Provide professional nursing care to a specific patient population in ambulatory settings.
• Assist in providing clinical oversight to assigned caregivers and patients to ensure quality and safe care.
• Coordinate and resolve daily operational issues.
• Perform duties of an RN Ambulatory.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and patient safety initiatives.
• Facilitate orientation, teaching, coaching and mentoring of assigned caregivers.
• Assist in preparing department specific education.
• Participate in quality initiatives, process improvement and research activities to improve patient outcomes, experience and safety.

Educación

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)

Two years of recent RN experience

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)

As RN Team Lead, you will coordinate and oversee daily operations, workflows, delivery of care and caregiver education as needed. Some of your responsibilities will include direct patient support, while others are more clerical and administrative in nature. A caregiver in this position works 7:30am to 4:00pm or 8:00am to 4:30pm.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

• Provide professional nursing care to a specific patient population in a variety of ambulatory settings.

• Assist in providing clinical oversight to assigned caregivers and patients to ensure quality and safe care.

• Coordinate and resolve daily operational issues.

• Perform duties of an RN Ambulatory.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and patient safety initiatives.

• Facilitate orientation, teaching, coaching and mentoring of assigned caregivers.

• Assist in preparing department specific education.

• Participate in quality initiatives, process improvement and research activities to improve patient outcomes, experience and safety.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)

• Two years of recent RN experience

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

• Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)

• Previous Charge Nurse or supervisory experience

Physical Requirements:

• Requires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
• Requires corrected hearing and vision to normal range.
• May requires some exposure to communicable diseases or bodily fluids.
• Light Work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly (Constantly: activity or condition exists 2/3 or more of the time) to move objects.
• Even though the weight lifted may be only a negligible amount, a job should be rated Light Work: (1) when it requires walking or standing to a significant degree; or (2) when it requires sitting most of the time but entails pushing and/or pulling of arm or leg controls; and/or (3) when the job requires working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materials even though the weight of those materials is negligible.
