Cleveland Clinic Medina Hospital is seeking an experienced RN for the Ambulatory Infusion department. The role provides professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting, including assessments, triage, administration of medications, and patient education.

The position requires travel within the region to support physician clinics and procedures. The ideal candidate holds a nursing diploma or degree (ADN/BSN), has an RN license, and BLS; ACLS within six months of hire.

• One year of recent RN or related clinical experience if transitioning within Cleveland Clinic ambulatory setting
• Current RN licensure and BLS; ACLS within six months of hire

Responsabilidades

• Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting.
• Assess health status and complete nursing assessments; perform telephone triage and establish care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments; initiate CPR and other emergency measures.
• Notify physician or LIP of abnormal findings; assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Develop and document health education for patients and families; cover other nursing roles as needed; travel within the region to support clinics and surgeries.

About This Role

As an RN in the Ambulatory Infusion department at Cleveland Clinic Medina Hospital, you will provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting, interacting directly with patients and families to enhance their healthcare experience.

What You'll Do

• Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting.
• Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephone triage, and establish care plans.
• Administer medication and treatments.
• Initiate CPR and other emergency measures.
• Notify the physician and/or Licensed Independent Provider (LIP) of abnormal findings.
• Assist with specialized diagnostic procedures, therapeutic procedures, and specialized patient care equipment.
• Develop, evaluate, adapt, and document health education and provide it to patients and families.
• Cover other nursing roles within the department.
• Travel within the region to support physician clinics and surgical procedures, as needed.

Requirements

• Education: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program)
• Experience: One year of recent experience as an RN OR LPN, Medical Assistant and/or other unlicensed clinical healthcare experience if a current Cleveland Clinic caregiver in an ambulatory setting transferring into an RN role.
• Licenses & Certifications:
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) Certification within six months of hire
