Job summary

The Cleveland Clinic Strongsville Family Health and Surgery Center is seeking an RN to provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting, supporting fellow caregivers in delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include nursing assessments, telephone triage, medication administration, CPR initiation, and coordination of care plans. Occasional regional travel may be required to assist physician clinics and procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN)
• One year of recent RN or LPN or related clinical experience if internal transfer
• Current state RN license and BLS; ACLS within six months if needed for procedures

• Administer medications and treatments.
• Initiate CPR and other emergency measures.
• Notify physician or LIP of abnormal findings.

• Develop and deliver health education to patients and families.
• Cover other nursing roles within the department.
• Travel regionally to support physician clinics and surgical procedures as needed

About This Role

As an RN in the Cleveland Clinic’s Strongsville Family Health and Surgery Center, you will provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting, assisting fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional patient care.

Highlights

• Pay: $41 - $41/hour

What You'll Do

• Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting.
• Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephone triage, and establish care plans.
• Administer medication and treatments.
• Initiate CPR and other emergency measures.
• Notify the physician and/or Licensed Independent Provider (LIP) of abnormal findings.
• Assist with specialized diagnostic procedures, therapeutic procedures, and specialized patient care equipment.
• Develop, evaluate, adapt and document health education and provide it to patients and families.
• Cover other nursing roles within the department.
• Travel within the region to support physician clinics and surgical procedures, as needed.

Requirements

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program)

Experience:

• One year of recent experience as an RN OR LPN, Medical Assistant and/or other unlicensed clinical healthcare experience if applicant is a current Cleveland Clinic caregiver in an ambulatory setting transferring into an RN role.

Licenses & Certifications:

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) Certification within six months of hire (if performing moderate sedation procedures and/or cardiac stress testing)
