Job summary

Cleveland Clinic’s Richard E. Jacobs Health Center in Avon, OH is seeking a caregiver RN to provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting, perform assessments, administer medications, and support a range of dermatology and cosmetic services.

The role involves travel within the region to support clinics, a 7:00am–5:30pm schedule on four 10-hour shifts, some evenings, and occasional Saturday rotations. RN license and BLS required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state RN license.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• One year of RN experience.
• Ability to travel within the region to support clinics.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting.
• Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephone triage and establish care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Initiate CPR and other emergency measures.
• Notify physician/LIP of abnormal findings.
• Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and use of patient care equipment.
• Develop and document health education for patients and families.
• Cover other nursing roles within the department.
• Travel within the region to support physician clinics and surgical procedures as needed.
