Join our Awesome Central Nursing Department | Now HIRING RN/Ambulatory (Triage)

We are looking for an energetic individual for the RN/Ambulatory (Triage) position in the Central Nursing Department. The RN utilizes the nursing process and participates as an integral part of the interdisciplinary health care team in providing the highest quality of care to the patient. You may perform a variety of duties including, but not limited to: triage (electronic or telephonic), patient education, care management, patient outreach, and central support to practice operations. These duties are performed utilizing approved policies, protocols, resources, the Nurse Practice Act, and clinical judgement. The RN serves as a resource to the support staff.

Location: 3910 Keswick Rd. Baltimore, MD 21211 - Remote

Shift: Non-exempt - Full-time - 40 hours per week - Mon-Fri - 9:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

This is a remote position. However, mandatory trainings are on-site!

Education, Licensure and Certification:

  • BSN or ASN from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current, unrestricted MD compact RN license
  • Current BLS for HealthCare Providers certification.
  • Two years relevant clinical experience. Outpatient/ambulatory care or call center triage experience is a plus!
  • Internal Medicine / Adult care experience highly preferred.
  • Must possess knowledge and skills necessary to provide and coordinate patient care via electronic and telephonic methods. This includes, but is not limited to:
  • Ability to triage patients based on all pertinent available data through the use of nursing process and clinical expertise.
  • Assess and classify the urgency of symptoms
  • Provide patient advice and instruction
  • Advise appropriate disposition, Follow-up as appropriate

Salary Range: Minimum 38.49/hour - Maximum 59.66/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
