Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an RN for an Ambulatory outpatient clinic in a fast-paced setting in Connecticut. The role involves caring for patients with urology-related diagnoses, performing vital signs, teaching, medication refills, and interpreting lab results.

Requirements include an RN license, BLS, and at least 1 year of ambulatory nursing experience. Knowledge of Epic EMR is preferred; ultrasound experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Description:This position involves working in an outpatient urology clinic.The nurse will care for patients with various diagnoses including urinary incontinence, BPH, kidney stones, bladder cancer, urinary tract infections, and cystitis.Daily responsibilities include obtaining vital signs, patient teaching, medication refills, and lab result interpretation.Additional duties may involve scheduling appointments and following up with patients.Experience with the Epic charting system is preferred.The clinic features interdisciplinary support and handles procedures such as vasectomy, cystoscopy, urodynamic testing, and biopsies.Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in a community hospital setting.The environment is fast-paced and requires strong communication and organizational skills.The role may also include float responsibilities and patient triage.Experience with special equipment like ultrasound may be beneficial.
