Responsibilities

• Office-based clinics with 15–20 patients per day.
• Perform office procedures including cystoscopy and ultrasound.
• Hospital procedures include complex urology surgeries (e.g., HIFU, ablation, repairs).
• Collaborate with support staff: NPs, MAs, clinical staff, scheduler, and technicians.
• Ensure patient safety and high-quality perioperative care.

Description:Office hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.The role includes 3 to 4 half-day clinics.There are 2 procedure rooms, 1 UDS room, and 6 exam rooms available.The expected patient load is 15-20 patients per day in the office.Office staffing includes 2 NPs, 3 Medical Office Assistants, 6 clinical staff, 1 surgery scheduler, and 1 UDS technician.Procedures performed in the office include vasectomy, prostate biopsies, cystoscopy with stent removal, and prostate ultrasounds.The number of procedures performed in the office varies daily.Procedures performed in the hospital include abdominal sacrocopopexy, aquablation, circumcision, cryoablation of the prostate and kidney, cystocele repair, cystoscopy, green light laser prostate procedures, hernia repair, HIFU, hydrocelectomy, Interstim stages I & II, mid-urethral sling, orchiectomy, percutaneous nerve evaluation, and others.4 to 8 procedures are performed daily in the hospital.Office equipment includes a UDS machine, monitors for cystoscopies, rigid and flexible cystoscopes, disposable cystoscopes, ultrasound machine, and probes.
