The RN Clinical Nurse I provides professional nursing care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, in accordance with facility policies and protocols under the supervision of a nursing leader. The role involves maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring competency relevant to the patient population served.
Requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting (up to 35 pounds), reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling. Good eyesight, hearing, smell, touch, and finger dexterity are necessary. Must respond quickly to changes in patient or unit conditions. Physical abilities testing is required.
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred. Current Basic Life Support certification is required. Must hold a valid RN license or temporary license in the state of employment or residence. For NLC states, meet licensure requirements in your home state.
