Job summary

The Ohio State University Physicians, Inc. (OSUP) seeks a qualified Registered Nurse to join our outpatient care team.

You’ll provide skilled nursing services under physician supervision, collect health data, and implement care plans across a collaborative healthcare setting. Ideal candidates hold an ADN from ACNE/ACEN accredited programs, current Ohio RN license, CPR/BLS, and strong communication skills to educate patients and families while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing from ACNE/ACEN accredited program.
• Current Ohio RN license.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience with triage procedures in clinic/office/urgent care.
• Maintain quality, safety and infection control standards.
• Knowledge of medication administration and patient care aids.
• Ability to educate and communicate with patients and families.
• Strong written and verbal communication; maintain confidentiality.
• Interpersonal skills, poise, tact and diplomacy.
• Analytical thinking to gather and interpret data and propose solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing services under physician or midlevel supervision.
• Collect and analyze patient health data to guide diagnoses and outcomes.
• Develop and implement a care plan to meet patient goals.
• Implement interventions from the care plan and evaluate progress.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver care.
• Perform nursing tasks in line with organizational policies.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and care.
