Job summary

Ohio State University Physicians is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our outpatient care team. You will provide nursing services under physician or midlevel supervision, assess patients, and contribute to a safe, therapeutic environment across our extensive clinic network.

Qualifications

• ADN from CCNE- or ACEN-accredited nursing program.
• Current Ohio RN license.
• CPR/BLS certified.
• Knowledge of triage procedures and clinic/urgent care experience.
• Ability to maintain quality, safety and infection control standards.
• Knowledge of medication administration and patient care aids.
• Ability to educate and clearly communicate with patients and families.
• Written and verbal communication proficiency.
• Strong interpersonal skills and diplomacy.
• Analytical ability and critical thinking to interpret data.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing services to patients under physician or midlevel provider supervision.
• Collect patient health data, analyze to determine diagnoses and expected outcomes.
• Develop a plan of care and implement interventions to attain outcomes.
• Implement interventions and evaluate patient progress toward outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team.
• Perform professional nursing work with focus on patient care per physician policies.
• Provide patient and family health education and health assessment.
