Job summary

Orlando Health in Florida is seeking an RN Advanced Care nurse to deliver high-acuity patient care in hospital units. This role requires advanced nursing skills and a focus on stabilization and complex care for patients with serious illnesses or injuries.

As part of a collaborative team, you will monitor patients, manage specialized equipment, document care, and coordinate with physicians and other nurses to ensure evidence-based, patient-centered outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Florida RN license or valid eNLC multistate license.
• BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC are required for certain areas.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge to care for high-acuity patients requiring advanced assessment and interventions.
• Monitors and interprets patient data and responds to rapidly changing conditions.
• Documents care in a knowledgeable, accurate manner per regulatory standards.
• Collaborates with medical staff and nursing leadership to manage unit operations.
