Job summary

Orlando Health is seeking an RN Advanced Care to deliver high-acuity nursing in hospital settings, focusing on complex care and rapid response. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide expert nursing care to patients with advanced illnesses and injuries.

The role requires a Florida RN license, BLS/ACLS, and experience in high-stakes units. You will participate in staff education, patient advocacy, and evidence-based practice while supporting family-centered care.

Qualifications

Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
Maintains current State of Florida RN license or valid eNLC multistate RN license.
Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC are required for certain areas.
Must possess 1 year RN experience; RN Labor & Delivery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Demonstrates critical knowledge, skills, and judgement to care for patients with complex assessment and therapies.
Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment and interprets cardiac/ventilator data.
Responds to life-saving situations following nursing standards and protocol.
Documents patient care in the electronic medical record and coordinates with the care team.
