Overview

Presbyterian Rust Medical Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Oncology Nurse. Oncology RNs works with patients who have, or who are at risk of getting, cancer. Oncology Nursesprovide necessary assessments, administer treatments and communicate with all patient care providers to help develop a plan tailored to each patient's needs. Responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients during a shift. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest quality of care for our patients and will be responsible for prioritizing the delivery of direct nursing care using time and resources efficiently integrating a standards-based framework model.

Type of Opportunity: Full Time (0.9 FTE/36 hours per week)Work Schedule: 12 Hour Nights

Qualifications
  • Credentials: Registered Nurse - State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License.
  • Education: Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Experience: 1 year Bedside experience preferred
  • BLS certification required at time of hire.
