Job Description

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking an RN to assume responsibility and accountability for applying the nursing process and delivering patient care. The RN demonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments effectively and efficiently under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Services.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiological and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from healthcare team members and document actual and potential nursing diagnoses.
  • Document the patient’s plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses, expected outcomes, and interventions.
  • Perform interventions according to priorities, plan of care, hospital policies, and care standards.
  • Revise the plan of care based on evaluations, medical plan changes, and intervention effectiveness.
  • Use clinical judgment in evaluation activities to meet patient care needs, including establishing priorities.
  • Perform other RN duties as assigned.
