In collaboration with hospital leadership, clinical senior leaders, and departmental supervisors, the Administrative Managers support operations, emergency management, and provide administrative leadership during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. They ensure organizational and staff safety and that patients receive safe, efficient, and high-quality care.
The Administrative Manager is responsible for the quality, safety, planning, management, and evaluation of operational, administrative, and regulatory activities related to resource allocation and hospital throughput. They oversee staff, management, and coordination of nursing service activities during their scheduled shifts to ensure safe, efficient, and therapeutic patient care. They work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team and hospital leadership to facilitate efficient patient flow throughout Children's National Medical Center and the surrounding community.
