Job summary

Signature Health Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse for Addiction Services to support patient treatment plans and deliver high-quality nursing care for individuals with substance use disorders.

You will perform assessments, administer medications, coordinate care with providers, and educate patients and families while maintaining regulatory compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved program in registered nursing.
• Valid unencumbered RN license in the state of Ohio.
• 2+ years of RN experience.
• 1+ year in psychiatry or SUD setting preferred.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• BSN preferred.
• Working knowledge of legal regulations and best practices in healthcare.
• Experience with case management.
• Proficient with technology and electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with staff to execute plan of care.
• Participate in growth and development of the Addiction Services program.
• Provide patient-centered care within the nursing license scope.
• Perform urine toxicology screens, routine lab draws, medication teaching, pill/film counts, observed dosing, and medication management.
• Obtain vital signs for each patient before provider visit.
• Educate patients regarding medications and health promotion.
• Assist in admission process and nursing evaluations.
• Coordinate care with outside facilities or emergency rooms.
• Maintain documentation in medical records to comply with policies.
• Maintain licensure requirements and participate in quality assurance.
