Job summary

Pinnacle Treatment Centers, Inc. is seeking an RN to monitor and coordinate nursing and medical care when the Director of Nursing is unavailable. The role involves direct patient medical services and maintaining records per state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensed in the state of employment.
• Minimum of one year experience in substance abuse and/or mental health field.
• CPR certification is required.
• Experience with chemical addiction and/or mental health conditions is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screen and assess patients for co-existing medical problems and treatment suitability.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered, following regulations.
• Maintain accurate medication administration records and patient charts.
• Follow treatment plans and coordinate with physicians and team.
• Educate patients in group settings about chemical dependency and related health issues.
• Assist in organizing transfers between levels of care.
• Maintain medication room and medical equipment in good order.
• Attend team meetings and complete required training.
