Job summary

The Recovery Village Kansas City is seeking a Registered Nurse to support addiction and mental health care on FT night shifts in Raytown, MO. You will deliver care, educate patients, document thoroughly, and coordinate with the leadership team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Night differential applies and comprehensive benefits are included. Minimum RN licensure in state, 2 years’ RN experience preferred, and behavioral health experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum Associate's Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Two years' RN experience preferred.
• Behavioral health experience preferred.
• Licensed to practice in the State of licensure (RN), active and in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Complete documents within the required timeframe after admission to the program and maintain medical records.
• Administer medications as indicated and monitor detoxification process.
• Transcribe Physician orders and implement all Medical Protocols as ordered.
• Confer with and assist medical personnel, internal and external resources.
• Provide documentation reflecting services for each patient in accordance with licensure standards.
• Assess medical and psychiatric needs and expedite treatment if required.
• Educate patients about medications, health issues and medical conditions.
• Take verbal orders from the medical provider and document them accurately.
• Provide routine nursing care under the supervision of the Director of Nursing.
