Job summary

The WAVE International in Lake City, FL, is seeking compassionate nurses to join our residential addiction treatment and detox program. You will perform patient assessments, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, person-centered care.

We welcome both new grads and experienced RNs or LPNs with Florida licensure and BLS. This role offers flexible scheduling and a supportive environment focused on holistic recovery and patient well-being.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN or LPN license in Florida.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic and focused nursing assessments, vital signs and documentation.
• Administer medications and maintain accurate records.
• Conduct admission assessments and basic nursing exams.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Participate in treatment team meetings to ensure comprehensive care.
• Ensure patient safety and respond to emergencies per policies.
• Contribute to a supportive environment for recovery and healing.
