The RN assists in maintaining a financially stable unit, promotes personal development with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education supported by a Practice Governance framework, and supervises licensed and non-licensed staff. Applying the Kristin M. Swanson Model of Care, the RN assesses, develops, implements, and evaluates the plan of care, focusing on patient and family comfort, education, and satisfaction. The RN applies educational and professional experience in delivering quality care and mentoring staff.
