Job summary

ScionHealth’s Paramount hospital is seeking a dedicated RN to deliver high-quality patient care in a 177-bed facility with a robust LTACH and ARU services. The RN will plan and execute care using the nursing process, collaborate with physicians and the care team, and participate in discharge planning, ensuring a safe and compassionate patient experience.

Responsibilities include administering medications, documenting in the patient record, and educating patients and families.

Qualifications

• Postsecondary nursing certificate, diploma or program completion (required).
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Registered Nurse license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care.
• Develop and update nursing care plans with patients and families.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians and the care team.
• Participate in discharge planning.
• Administer medications following the five rights of administration.
• Document nursing care in the medical record and complete shift reports.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs.
