Job summary

Humboldt Park Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care across assignments. You will assess, plan, implement, and document the nursing process, float to other units as needed, and collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

The role requires an IL RN license, BLS, and a readiness for ACLS or CPI in certain units. A full-time schedule and shift differentials may apply, with a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Prior RN experience preferred.
• Current IL RN License.
• BLS required.
• ACLS, CPI may be required for certain units.

Responsibilities

• Plan, provide, supervise and document professional nursing care for patients.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians and healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document observations and activities in the health record.
• Provide safe, effective nursing care on assigned unit.
• Guide and direct unlicensed assistive personnel in patient care.
• Assess physiologic and psychosocial changes in patient condition.
• Perform interventions per care plan, infection control and hospital policies.
• Collect blood specimens for laboratory analysis when needed.
