TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for Acute Care PRN assignments. You will perform direct patient care, monitor and document patient conditions, administer medications, and participate in multidisciplinary care planning to support the hospital's mission.

The role requires an active TN RN license, current BLS, and at least one year of RN experience, with acute care experience preferred. TriStar offers comprehensive benefits and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current Tennessee licensure and active RN status.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience; acute care preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assess plans and evaluate patient care needs and carry out physician orders.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Registered Nurse performs direct patient care within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act.

Utilizes therapeutic communication in daily practice. Maintains a safe therapeutic environment. Identifies nursing problems as they relate to the individual needs of the patient. Registered Nurse plans individualized patient care while utilizing an interdisciplinary approach. Participates in performance improvement activities. Provides care and coordinates participation that fosters the goals of the hospital’s mission and vision statement.

What you will do in this role:

• You will assess plans and evaluate the patients care needs and will carry out physician orders.
• You will administer prescribed medications, changes dressings, cleans wounds, and monitors vital signs.
• You will monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.
• You will instruct and educate patients and families as part of part of a Multidisciplinary Care Planning team.
• You will identify nursing problems as they relate to the individual needs of the patient and plan individualized patient care utilizing an interdisciplinary approach.

What qualifications you will need:

• Registered Nurse from accredited school of nursing
• Current Licensure with Tennessee Board of Nursing
• Current BLS
• One year of registered nurse experience required
• Acute Care RN experience preferred

TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center is a 159-bed facility providing quality healthcare to Sumner and surrounding counties for more than 45 years.
