Job summary

Albert Einstein Medical Center, part of the Jefferson Health system, seeks a Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care in an acute setting. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, patient education, and teamwork to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The position requires a BSN and prior RN experience in an acute care environment is strongly preferred. Work is conducted during the Day shift with regular hours at 5501 Old York Road, Philadelphia.

Qualifications

• BSN is required.
• Previous RN experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with co-workers, patients, and families in a manner aligned with Jefferson Health values.
• Integrates evidence-based practice and clinical expertise to deliver optimal patient care.
• Educates patients and families to identify learning needs and priorities in a clear, understandable way.
• Minimizes risk of harm by following established nursing practices and protocols.

• Monitors care outcomes and uses improvement methods to enhance quality and safety.
• Collaborates with nursing and inter-professional teams to ensure safe, compassionate care.
• Respectfully recognizes patient preferences, needs, and cultural beliefs in care delivery.
• Creates an environment of belonging, demonstrates problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Engages in ongoing learning and acts as a preceptor for appropriate staff members.
• Participates in hospital and practice committees focused on safety and quality.
