Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Night shift to join an interdisciplinary care team. You will provide individualized, evidence-based nursing care to patients while aligning with Wellstar policies and the Shared Governance Model.

You will practice under Georgia’s Nurse Practice Act, support patient and family education, and contribute to performance improvement activities in a dynamic hospital setting.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Georgia or Compact licensure required upon hire
• RN license required; BLS certification required.
• Less than 1 year of direct patient care experience or completion of approved program.

Responsibilities

• Performs the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) with evidence-based practice.
• Provides patient-centered care responsive to cultural and individual needs.
• Coordinates care with an interdisciplinary team and documents care and outcomes.
• Supports performance improvement initiatives and adherence to policies and standards.
