Job summary

The Valley Health System’s Summerlin Hospital in Las Vegas, NV is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide safe, competent care and professional leadership to the healthcare team in a busy setting.

Candidates must hold an active Nevada RN license, BLS, ACLS (adult) and PALS or NRP as required, with BSN preferred; completion of a specialty course within 6 months of hire. VHS offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing; completion of a specialty course or equivalent within 6 months of hire.
• BSN preferred.
• One-year acute care experience or completion of an approved specialty course within 6 months of hire.
• Current Nevada RN license; BLS, ACLS (adult) and PALS or NRP as required by department.
• Must pass any pre-employment assessment required by the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
