Job summary

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Acute Care System Wide Float Pool. Float pool assignments include adult acute care, telemetry, or transitional care units across Edgewood, Grant County, Covington, Florence, Ft.

Thomas, and Dearborn facilities. Weekly hours are 36, with 7A-7P shifts. The role requires an accredited nursing education, a BSN, and licensure in KY and IN, plus a minimum of 18 months RN experience and completion of orientation/preceptorship.

Qualifications

• Graduate from accredited School of Nursing and licensed to practice in Kentucky and Indiana.
• Demonstrates nursing theory and clinical practice standards.
• Competent in calculating medications and safe nursing skills.
• Minimum 18 months of RN nursing experience with orientation/preceptorship completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based clinical care to designated patients using the nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve patient outcomes.
• Uphold ethical and cultural standards in every patient encounter.
