Position Summary:

The RN provides professional nursing care for patients in an acute care setting, ensuring safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care tailored to individual needs across the lifespan. Practices according to the Nurse Practice Act, ANA standards, and unit-specific protocols.

Education, License & Cert:

• RN licensed in the state of employment
• BSN preferred
• Specialty Certification preferred
• BLS certification
• ACLS and PALS as required by the unit

Experience:

• At least 1 year of RN experience or transitioned from NLRN program
• Maintain BLS; ACLS and educational requirements as per unit standards

Essential Functions:

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care

• Foster learning for patients, families, and staff
