Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct clinical care per shift, supervise staff, and support the CNO in delivering high-quality, safe patient care with appropriate resource management.

The role requires nursing licensure, BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable; acute care experience is preferred. Benefits include comprehensive plans and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current license/certification to practice as required by law; BLS, and if applicable ACLS/PALS/NRP.
• Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing.
• Experience in acute care setting.

Responsabilités

• Provides high-quality, safe, cost-effective total nursing care to all patients.
• Coordinates and integrates patient care based on the nursing process.
• Directs care according to safety standards, risk management, QA, and infection control; discharge planning for optimal care.
• Coordinates and plans patient care within the prescribed medical regime.
• Administers all medications safely per hospital policy.
• fulfills HICS responsibilities during emergencies and disasters.
• Knows and follows hospital emergency codes and related policies.
