Job summary

Southeast Health in Dothan, AL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical/Surgical Unit (2 East–7 East). You will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for adult and geriatric patients.

The role requires an active Alabama RN license, English proficiency, and BCLS competency; ACLS preferred. Night shift is 7:00 pm–7:00 am, full-time at 0.9 FTE.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of Alabama (required).
• English reading, writing and speaking proficiency (required).
• Annual competency requirements and program completion primed.

Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for adults and geriatrics in the Medical/Surgical Unit (2 East–7 East).
• Provide patient care following hospital policies and procedures; support the mission and values of the hospital.
• Utilize basic life support, ECG knowledge and ACLS when applicable to patient care.
