Job summary

Southeast Health in Alabama seeks a Registered Nurse for Medical/Surgical Services on the night shift. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for adult and geriatric patients in a busy Med/Surg unit, following hospital policies and standards.

Strong clinical skills and teamwork are essential for this role. Required is a current RN license in Alabama, ability to read/write/speak English, and BLS; ACLS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• BLS completed; ACLS course preferred; EKG training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for adults and geriatrics.
• Provide care in the Medical/Surgical Unit (e.g., 2 East–7 East) per hospital policies.
• Document care and collaborate with the health-care team.
