Job summary

Southeast Health, located in Dothan, AL, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical/Surgical Unit (2 East–7 East). The role involves applying the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care for adults and geriatric patients, following hospital policies and procedures.

The position requires an active RN license in the state, English proficiency, BLS, and preferred ACLS. The shift runs 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, with a 0.9 FTE, on-site at Southeast Health.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current RN license in the state.
• Proficient in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Successful Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Preferred: ACLS certification.
• Experience with Windows-based computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for adult and geriatric Medical/Surgical patients.
• Delivers patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
