Job summary

Indigo Manor is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our clinical team on a full-time basis. You will deliver high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, directing nursing services and supervising staff.

We offer 12-hour shifts, a balanced schedule (3 days per week), opportunities for training and leadership, and a mission-driven environment focused on compassionate, resident-centered care. Licensure in good standing is required.

Qualifications

• One year of nursing experience in a long-term care facility is preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse license in good standing per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Directing nursing services to residents in your assigned neighborhood or program.
• Providing hands-on training to newly hired team members and retraining as needed.
• Overseeing physician orders, validating transcription, and administering medications.
• Supervising both clinical and non-clinical staff, offering guidance and support.
• Collaborating with the interdisziplinary team to plan and evaluate resident care.
• Documenting resident conditions accurately and promptly; reporting observations.
• Executing treatments and monitoring reactions to medications.
• Coordinating admissions, discharges, and transfers with quality service.
• Planning resident admissions as ordered by physicians and coordinating with pharmacy/labs.
• Providing thorough shift reports to ensure continuity of care.

A Few Details About the Role:

As a Registered Nurse at Indigo Manor, you’ll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality nursing care to our residents. Your responsibilities will include:

• Directing nursing services to all residents in your assigned neighborhood or program, ensuring comprehensive care and attention.
• Providing hands‑on/on‑the‑job training to newly hired team members and offering skill set retraining as needed to maintain high standards of care.
• Overseeing physician orders, verifying all orders are accurately transcribed into the electronic record system and treatment plans, administering medications, and providing treatments according to orders.
• Supervising and leading both clinical and non-clinical team members, providing guidance, support, and discipline as necessary.
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to review, plan, coordinate, and evaluate resident care to ensure the highest level of well‑being.
• Documenting resident conditions and nursing needs accurately and promptly, reporting important observations and reactions in a timely manner.
• Executing treatments as necessary, documenting the status, and observing reactions to medications and treatments to ensure effectiveness and safety.
• Coordinating admissions, discharges, and transfers, ensuring a smooth and seamless process while providing quality customer service.
• Planning resident admissions as ordered by the physician, conducting assessments, verifying orders with the physician, and notifying pharmacy, laboratory, and other departments as required.
• Providing accurate and thorough shift reports to ensure continuity of care, enabling the on-coming shift to continue providing excellent care.
