Job summary

University of California - Los Angeles Health is seeking a Pediatric Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care for our pediatric patients. You will supervise nursing interventions, assess learning needs of patients and families, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.

The role requires a CA RN license (BSN or MSN preferred), BLS and PALS certification, and at least 6 months of inpatient RN experience with a pediatric emphasis.

Qualifications

• Current, valid California RN license.
• 6+ months inpatient RN experience; Pediatric RN experience preferred.
• BLS from ARC or AHA required.
• PALS certification required.
• Ability to assess patient, family and staff learning needs and deliver clinical education.

In this exciting and rewarding position, you will provide exceptional nursing care for our Pediatric patients. You will offer guidance to team members by supervising nursing interventions and assigning related tasks. You will also assess patient, family and staff learning needs, deliver appropriate clinical education and promote effective working relationships. This involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of dedicated professionals to develop and implement a care plan, including providing detailed care instructions.

Salary Range: $65.76 - $97.76 hourly

Qualifications

• Current, valid California RN license, required
• BSN or MSN, required
• BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association, required
• PALS certification, required
• 6+ months of inpatient RN experience, required; Pediatric RN experience, strongly preferred
• Skill in implementing appropriate nursing interventions on a consistent basis
• Ability to perform historical, physical and behavioral patient assessments
• Ability to develop and implement and evaluate patient care plan actively involving patients, family, and staff
• Official Transcripts and/or original diploma from a registered nursing program must be provided upon hire
