Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health's Winchester Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Special Care Nursery to provide high‑quality newborn care. You will complete assessments, administer medications, observe progress, and evaluate therapies to achieve optimal outcomes in collaboration with physicians and the care team.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited RN program, Massachusetts RN licensure, and preferred Level II B Special Care Nursery experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state-approved and/or accredited RN program required.
• BSN strongly encouraged.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Work experience in unit specific specialty preferred.

As a Registered Nurse for our Special Care Nursery Team, you will be responsible for the following:

• Complete assessments, administer medications/treatments, observes patients progress and evaluates therapies for clinical outcomes and effectiveness

• Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to develop an optimal health care strategy plan for each patient

• Support and educate patients and their loves ones to achieve maximum outcomes

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a state-approved and/or accredited RN program required. Preferred: BSN strongly encouraged.

Schedule: 30 hours/week, day shift including weekend and holiday rotations

Level II B Special Care Nursery experience required.

Pay Range:

$36.00 - $90.14

The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geographyof work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
