Job summary

Rusk Rehabilitation Hospital, part of the Encompass Health family, invites you to join our dedicated team of Registered Nurses. We offer 12-hour shifts, a weekend program, and a sign-on bonus of $10,000 for full-time roles.

Weekend options include day and night shifts with time-and-a-half pay on weekends, plus general shift differentials. All full-time hires work 3-12 hour day shifts, Monday to Friday without weekends, with a weekend option available.

Qualifications

• Valid RN licensure as required by state regulations.
• CPR certification (ACLS preferred).
• CRRN certification preferred.
• One year of experience in a rehabilitation hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise care and treatments, lead patient assessments, tailor care plans, and address patient concerns to provide exceptional care.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients and their families, understanding their unique needs to facilitate their recovery.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with various departments to ensure coordinated care and provide direct patient care when needed.
• Serve as a resource for fellow staff, supporting them with complex patient needs and inquiries.
• Celebrate victories and milestones achieved by our patients.
