Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a registered nurse for a full‑time position with (2) 12‑hour day shifts and (2) 8‑hour shifts, including weekend and holiday on‑call coverage. The role focuses on direct patient care, safety, pain management, discharge planning and collaboration with the health care team.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• AHA BLS - Healthcare Provider credential.
• TNCC and 8 hours Trauma CNE if assigned to ICU/CCU or related units.
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification or able to obtain within orientation period.
• ACLS and/or PALS as applicable to department.

Responsibilities

• Delivers quality patient care through teamwork and nursing process.
• Ensures patient safety by following policies and procedures.
• Supports pain management and patient education for discharge planning.
