Job summary

Good Samaritan Society in Canistota, SD is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process. You will collaborate with residents, families, and an interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate care across all stages of health.

The role requires an unencumbered RN license, preferred Bachelor’s in Nursing, and will involve day shifts from 6am to 6:30pm, with every other weekend/holiday.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including CCNE, ACEN, or NLN CNEA.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license in the applicable state.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with residents, families and an inter-disciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate resident assessment, education and nursing interventions.
