Salary: $26 - $32 / hour (Days)

Salary: $28 - $34 / hour (Nights)

Maxim Healthcare in Tri-Cities, TN is hiring a Registered Nurse to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their own homes.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and services provided to clients receiving contracted services, as required.
• Initiate the plan of care when directed and request revisions from the prescriber as patient status and needs change.
• Incorporate therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and goals.
• Intervene as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and report such changes to the physician or supervisor.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitor and document their effectiveness.
• Review plans of care and protocols, and identify areas for healthcare teaching, care coordination, goal setting, and discharge planning.

Requirements:

• Current RN license for the state of practice.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year of RN experience preferred.
