Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. seeks a Registered Nurse to provide in-home pediatric care in Oxford, Iowa. Full-time days with hourly pay of $38 are available, including benefits and weekly paychecks.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering patient care, administering meds, adjusting plans as needed, and coordinating discharge planning with the care team. Requires active RN license, BLS, health cert, and often 1 year experience.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the practicing state.
• Current Health Certificate as required by contract or state regulation.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray on file.
• Current BLS card is required.
• One year RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to plan, implement and evaluate client care.
• Initiates care plans and follows revisions from the prescriber.
• Applies therapeutic, preventive and rehabilitative nursing actions.
• Responds to changes in patient condition and reports to physician or supervisor.
• Administers medications and treatments and monitors effectiveness.
• Reviews care plans and coordinates education, discharge planning and goals.

Maxim Healthcare is hiring in Oxford, Iowa for a Registered Nurse to work with a Pediatric patient in their own homes.

Responsibilities:

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to client(s) receiving contracted services, as required
• Initiates the plan of care when directed and requests from prescriber any necessary revisions as patient status and needs change
• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals
• Intervenes as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and reports such changes to appropriate physician or supervisor
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, as well as, monitors and documents effectiveness of intervention
• Reviews plan of care and program protocols and identifies areas for healthcare teaching/education, care coordination, goal setting and discharge planning needs, as applicable

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility Registered Nurse (RN) contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.
