Job summary

Belmont Pines Hospital in Ohio is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time, with 7a-7:30p or 7p-7:30a shifts and rotating weekends. New grads welcome. The role covers acute and residential units for children/adolescents and includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus and strong benefits.

Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, Ohio RN licensure, and CPR/CPI training with weekend availability. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is required.
• Crisis Intervention Training (CPI) is required after employment.
• Licensed to practice by the Ohio State Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care on acute and residential units for children and adolescents.
• Participate in patient care planning and crisis management.
• Assist with weekend and holiday coverage as required.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required. BSN preferred.

Experience: A minimum of one (1) year experience as a registered nurse health care facility preferred. Experience with children/adolescents preferred.

Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the Ohio State Board of Nursing. Must have a valid driver's license.

Additional Requirements: CPR certification and successful completion of Crisis Intervention Training (CPI), including appropriate use of Seclusion and Restraint, immediately following employment and prior to performing patient care.Must pass a medication administration exam and complete a basic developmental and age specific training.
