Harris Hill Nursing Facility in Williamsville, NY is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the nursing team and provide high-quality resident care. You will perform clinical assessments, administer medications and treatments, and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and families to support residents’ health and well-being.

Ideal candidates hold an NYS RN license, an associate degree in nursing, CPR certification, and have experience in skilled nursing or geriatric care.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in accordance with resident assessments, care plans, and facility policies.
• Perform resident assessments and monitor changes, communicating concerns to providers and families as appropriate.
• Administer medications, treatments, IV therapies, and enteral feedings within the RN scope of practice.
• Supervise and support Nursing Assistants to ensure quality resident care and timely completion of tasks.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurse practitioners, therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members.
• Ensure resident care plans and clinical documentation remain current and accurate.
• Follow infection control, safety, resident rights, and confidentiality standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing staff education activities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• Valid NYS Registered Nurse (RN) License required
• Current CPR Certification required
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility or with the geriatric population preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
• Ability to supervise nursing assistants and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
