Job summary

Riverside Oaks in Victoria, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Skilled Nursing team. This full-time - PRN role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care under physician guidance and within state/federal regulations.

Eligible candidates must hold a valid RN license and graduate from an accredited nursing program. You will participate in patient care, document in EMR, administer medications, and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Nursing School.
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) License.

Responsibilities

• Provide and oversee patient care in line with standards and physician orders.
• Observe, assess, and report patient conditions; document per policy and regulations.
• Record EMR data related to patient assessment and care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Receive, transcribe, and execute physicians’ orders; implement patient care plans.
• Direct and coordinate timely delivery of quality patient care by staff.
• Ensure care management systems are used in delivery of patient care.

Responsibilities

• As a Registered Nurse (RN) you will participate in and oversee the provision of patient care services consistent with accepted standards and prescribed by attending Physician.
• Observes, assesses, and reports Patient conditions/changes and documents in accordance with Cantex’s Clinical Policies & Procedures and state/federal guidelines & regulations.
• EMR documentation relevant to patient assessment, evaluation, change of condition, in accordance to nursing practices.
• May administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Receive, transcribe, and execute physicians’ orders. Evaluated and implements a Patient’s care plan.
• Directs, monitors, and coordinates timely delivery of quality Patient care by all subordinate staff.
• Ensures Patient Care Management Systems are routinely in-serviced and incorporated into the delivery of patient care.
