Job summary

Freedom Pointe at The Villages in The Villages, FL is hiring a Staff Nurse to deliver nursing care in a fast-paced skilled nursing center. You will administer medications, coordinate rounds with physicians, and communicate changes in residents’ conditions to families and the care team.

We offer multiple shifts with competitive base pay starting at $32 per hour plus differential earnings ($3 for 3pm–11pm, $4 for 11pm–7am, $5 for weekends), along with benefits and DailyPay access to earned wages.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license with the state of Florida.
• 6 months nursing experience preferred.
• Geriatric involvement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments to residents in the skilled nursing center.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes.
• Keep physician and family informed of changes in resident condition.
• Make rounds with physicians and transcribe orders.
• Ensure continuity of services and care.

The shift differential rate for 3pm-11pm shift is $3.00 an hour,11p-7a shift is $4.00 an hour and a weekend shift is $5.00 an hour.

The staff nurse is responsible for the accurate and timely administration of medications, treatments, documentation and emergency call lights, inside our skilled nursing center.
