Job summary

Harborview-Health-Systems in Georgia is seeking an experienced RN Infection Preventionist to lead infection control initiatives and improve resident outcomes. The role requires strong organizational skills, clinical nursing expertise, and the ability to develop care plans and coordinate interventions.

You will administer resident immunizations, monitor antibiotic use and bowel/bladder programs, and ensure compliance with infection control standards.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing in the state of practice.
• Formal working knowledge; Infection Control experience required.
• Prior experience as LTC RN preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must complete Infection Preventionist course within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess resident status, implement clinical nursing interventions to modify symptoms, and develop and implement resident care plans to enhance and improve outcomes.

What You Will Do
