Qualifications

  • Associate Of Nursing and Two years of medical/surgical RN experience.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
  • Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

  • Performs assessment/data collection in an on-going systematic manner focusing on physiologic, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual and cognitive status; includes nutrition, pain, education and advocacy.
  • Formulates a goal-directed plan of care based on nursing diagnosis and patient outcomes.
  • Implements care in a thorough, skillful and consistent manner.
  • Establishes priorities for patient care based on needs and available resources.
  • Evaluates effectiveness of care provided by the health care team.
  • Effectively communicate with patients, staff and providers.
