Mountain Youth Academy is centrally located near Johnson City, TN, Boone, NC, and Abingdon, VA. We are a 120-bed residential treatment facility and assist in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of behavioral health issues for our young adolescent patients. A Registered Nurse (RN) in a Residential Treatment Center (RTC) position is primarily responsible for assessing patients' conditions, administering medications, providing necessary care based on treatment plans, educating patients and families about their treatment, and maintaining detailed medical records, all while prioritizing the unique needs of individuals in a residential treatment setting; this includes fostering open communication with patients, their families, and other healthcare team members.
